Some people say that they don’t feel a part of the Doctor Who fandom because they don’t ship the Doctor and Rose.
It’s not that they aren’t part of the fandom, they’re just missing a huge part of it.
While some people might think Martha was weak for leaving the Doctor, I personally thought it was a very brave thing to do. It takes a lot of strength to leave the person you’re in love with because they’re in love with someone else.
I really didn’t want to cry during Angels take Manhattan because I felt like Moffat was trying to hard with the story line and I didn’t like it, but Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, and Matt Smith are such dang good actors I couldn’t help myself.
I’m not going to lie, ever since season 5 started, Doctor Who hasn’t felt like Doctor Who.
If Steven Moffat brought back Jack for the 50th anniversary, I would be a very happy Whovian.
Send me your confessions! I’ll do as many as I can :)
I’m really over River Song’s plot line. It was interesting in the beginning, but now it’s just become too much. It’s way overkill.
When people deny that the Doctor really did love Rose, I have to walk away before I get too angry at their stupidity.
I really love Martha and Mickey together and I think they’re an adorable couple but it also makes me kind of sad because, let’s be honest. They really are the “reject” couple.
When people don’t appreciate how much Rose did for the Doctor and how much she helped him, it just makes me want to cry because of how much they’re missing.
I’m so sick of people freaking out about Clara kissing the Doctor. It happens with almost every companion. It doesn’t mean they’re actually going to fall in love or anything. Relax.
I’m just happy Martha got her happy ending.
I love Alex Kingston. I think she’s absolutely brilliant. But the way River is written makes me want to pull my hair out! I just find her to be annoying, selfish, and a know-it-all. These are all the qualities I thought the Doctor hated in a person. Which is why I find their relationship so forced and unnatural.
I hate it when people complain and say that Rose wasn’t a good companion because she wasn’t “smart” enough. They don’t seem to understand that that is what made her so great. She was real just like anyone else. That’s why I connected to her so much. It’s the reason everyone fell in love with her right away. It just proves you don’t have to be special to be brilliant. That’s why we love her. And that’s why the Doctor did too.
I think Steven Moffat is a brilliant writer, I really do! But just not for Doctor Who.
